I love this quote by Maria Robinson, it is such a good philosophy to live by.

I feel that it is exceptionally important to pay more attention to oneself in order to get the best productivity in your work day.

 

Idea’s on Loving YOURSELF more!

  1. Start off by telling yourself what you love about yourself
  2. Focus less on trying to gain everyone else’s approval
  3. Forgive yourself for any past demons
  4. Start making the changes you are well aware you need to make

 

  1. Start off by telling yourself what you love about yourself

Start of by not being so harsh on yourself. Look in the mirror and TELL yourself what you love about yourself. First and foremost, you need to be kind to yourself and show yourself the love you deserve.

 

  1. Focus less on trying to gain everyone else’s approval

 You need to tell yourself that you don’t need or have to do things the way others want you too. Don’t wait around for others approval. There is no need. Don’t wait for others to tell you how to live.

 

  1. Forgive yourself for any past demons

 You need to forgive yourself for any past indiscretions and realise that not everyone is perfect, we ALL make mistakes. Accept it and move on.

 

  1. Start by making the changes you are well aware you need to make

 In order to make changes, you need to come to terms with the fact that you will need to do things differently. You need to push yourself. You need to do things that will challenge you and take you out of your comfort zone.

These, I have to say, are only a few ways in which you can be more positive in your life and create a better and more productive you.

 

How does this affect Productivity?

 Well for starters, a happy employee equals a productive employee. Of course, the more productive an employee is the more that deadlines will be met. The financial advantages are enormous. An employee’s happiness is paramount in business’s today.

One study found that happy employees are up to 20% more productive than unhappy employees.

When it comes to salespeople, happiness has an even greater impact, raising sales by 37%.

 

How does one increase the Productivity of your Employee? How do you create a happy work environment?

  1. Be appreciative
  2. Be Generous
  3. Smile
  4. Create meaningful connections
  5. Listen
  6. In-person contact
  7. And my favourite, Exercise

 

We have to all agree 100% that a happy employee is a productive employee.

 Last but not least “Do something EVERY day that makes you happy, create a better version of yourself and live life to the fullest!
